Hello there!
I'm an Assistant Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. My research focus lies in advancing the field of space robotics, emphasizing the development of computationally efficient state estimation techniques.
Driven by a deep fascination with space and robotics, my academic pursuits have spanned various topics, from CubeSats to planetary rovers. After completing my Ph.D. in inertial localization techniques for space robotics missions, I delved into cooperative localization, perception, planning, and robot-terrain interactions in challenging environments.
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to contribute to remarkable projects. I led the first Turkish CanSat microsatellite team, winning the MERIT award, and participated in the von Karman Institute's QB50 mission. I also had the privilege of working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory on Mars Rover projects.
